Apart from a shopping mall - to be called the " The Great India Place ", plans are for setting up a water-cum-amusement park as part of the project, In the second phase, a five star hotel and Bollywood-based amusement park would also be constructed. In the first phase, slated to open soon, will also include a Teen Zone, Besides some rides. The Teen Zone will comprise large set stages and concert lighting for live dances and performances.

The park is expected to witness 20,000 footfalls on normal days and 30,000 on weekends. A five-star hotel, with a capacity of 250 rooms, is also on the anvil. Also in the pipeline is an elevated monorail system to take visitors to the four corners of the park.

The entire park, complete with the monorail network, rides, restaurants and commercial section, would take a further couple of years to be completed and they would be opened by the end of 2008.

The E-City is aimed at promoting tourism. Currently, tourists leave Delhi after a short span of two days on an average. "This needs to be increased to garner more revenue. It would take at least three days to take a tour of the entire E-City .

International Recreation Parks, is a 50:50 joint venture between Unitech and International Amusement Limited. The project includes two malls, a 200-room Marriott Courtyard Hotel as well as an international quality amusement and water park on a total of 150 acres.
